Duties & Responsibilities

Capturing the capitalisation of newly acquired assets
Capturing the disposals of assets and raising corresponding sales invoice for the disposal
Calculate and run depreciation for all fixed assets
Conducting fixed asset verifications and stock counts
Capturing and keeping track of all IT stock issued out
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between actual and theoretical IT stock
Lease recognition at inception of the lease
Capturing of monthly transactions on leases
Perform reconciliations for the leases
Assist with annual financial statements audits (relating to fixed assets)
Able to work under tight deadlines for management accounts/reporting

Desired Experience & Qualification

National Senior Certificate / Grade 12
Certificate / Diploma / Degree in a Finance related field - Ideal
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Hands-on and a positive attitude
