About the job Project Manager, L2 - Technology
Key purpose:
The Project Manager Level 2 Technology, role is responsible for planning and overseeing the delivery of IT projects to ensure completion in a timely fashion and within budget. This role is more senior than the Project Manager Level 1 Technology role, due to the incumbent having a higher level of expertise, furnished by an in-depth knowledge of project management and extraordinary skills in the discipline. The Project managers role is to plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way. The Project Manager Level 2 Technology must meet stakeholder expectations and create business value, within the confines of a company's goals and vision.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Provides technical guidance on project delivery and an overall context of the needs and objectives of IT projects
- Collaborates with the Quality Management organization to ensure that quality objectives are adhered to during project execution
- Allocate resources and approve work packages. Takes ownership for the implementation of policy and business processes
- Engages with the customer and corporate stakeholders to drive effective decisions and define clear requirements
- Works with business managers to develop and maintain a high degree of confidence in the success of projects and implementation plans
- Reviews and analyzes project execution and supports customers through client-specific reporting and analysis

Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field required
- 10 year of experience in technology management, project management or software development.
- 8 years of experience in an IT business process or system management role with a proven track record of success and appropriate technical expertise required
