Job Purpose
Supervise, monitor and co-ordinate the functions within the Admissions and Registration Centre ensuring an effective and efficient rending of quality support services to Academic Administration.
To work closely with the Manager: ARC and Academic Administration management team.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- National Diploma in the following qualifications: Business Administration, Management and/or Public Administration; and/or equivalent qualifications.
- At least 4 years' working in Academic Administration of which 3 years should be in supervisory level in Academic Administration.
- Extensive knowledge of ITS Integrator Student Management system (Application and Registration related) and sub-systems including technical platforms/interfaces used, would be strongly recommended.
Key Performance Areas / Principal Accountabilities
- Assist with the execution, monitoring of and adherence to the Applications and Admission processes to enhance efficiency
- Provide day to day supervision and co-ordination of the functions of the unit for all administrators across campuses
- Assist the Manager: ARC with the compiling of the annual budget
- Supervise the execution and monitoring of the Registration processes
- Co-ordinate and manage the keeping of student records and student registry in accordance with legislation, policies, file plan and retention schedule
- Co-ordinate and manage the HEMIS validations within set timelines; planning and co-ordinate the testing of any system enhancements; and assist with the re-setting of the application and registration modules on the ERP System
- Initiate projects for the Admission and Registration Centre and/or lead projects whenever nominated to do so
- Co-ordinate and manage the submission of audit requirements applicable to the Admission and Registration Centre
- Compliance and adherence to policies and procedures and guidelines
- Liaise with the Manager: Admissions and Registration Centre and other internal and external stakeholders, ensuring efficient and effective exchange of information.
