Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Manage a team of financial professionals directly (group finance) and indirectly (regional finance teams) to produce the Group’s required reporting outcomes.
- Responsible for producing consolidated group annual financial statements, monthly management reports, and other relevant stakeholder reporting, together with accompanying key performance indicators.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Requirements:
- Must reside or be looking to relocate to the coast.
- CA or similar professional qualification with post-graduate qualification in accounting or finance with a credible history in the business financial partner’s space.
- MUST HAVE IFRS TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE (ESSENTIAL).
- MUST HAVE PROVIDED TECHNICAL SUPPORT ON IFRS AND DEALT WITH FINANCIAL STATEMENTS.
- MUST BE ABLE TO SUBMIT SCENARIOS ON HOW YOU USED IFRS TO SOLVE FINANCIAL PROBLEMS.
- Minimum of 5 years’ post qualification experience in the Finance department of a large listed or multinational company.
- Minimum of 5 years’ proven managerial experience.
- Excellent knowledge of the IFRS reporting standards and international tax rules.

- Experience in the logistics sector is preferred.
Purposes of the Position:
- Management of the group financial and management reporting function to meet the information requirements of its stakeholders.
- Custody of the process to deliver accurate, timely, and relevant financial information from regional and legal entity levels to group consolidation.
