My client from a Freight Forwarding Company is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team
Responsibilities:
The role is responsible for the design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance and support of the BI report and Data Warehouse solutions
Participate in the project to migrate the existing on-prem Data warehouse to AZURE (Main Focus)
Assist with the analysis and documenting of BI requirements
Design, develop and maintain existing Data Warehouse solutions
Matric
University Degree / College Diploma in the field of Computer Science or Infomatics
3-5 years AZURE development experience
5-8 years BI ETL Development experience
5-8 years data warehouse development experience
Good understanding of BI Architecture principles "Ralph Kimball's methodology"
Additional Computer Skills
Microsoft's Azure Stack (ADF, Databricks, Azure SQL Database / Azure Synapse, Azure Analysis Services, DevOps)
Advanced MS SISS Development
MS SASS, knowledge of Tabular Model development & Maintenance with DAX knowledge experience
Advanced Microsoft SQL experience
Data Warehouse Design experience
Good knowledge in PowerShell Scripting
Good understanding of GIT methodology
