A leading JSE-listed manufacturer with extremely well-known and premier food brands is looking for a hands-on Financial Controller . The position is based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town and ideally calls for a young, newly qualified PA(SA), AGA(SA), or part CGMA who is looking to make that step into a commercial environment.
This role opens up varied possibilities within the group, in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of accounting transactions, and reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting packs.
- Forecasting and budgeting.
- Drive and streamline internal controls and processes.
- Assist with audit preparation and AFS preparation.
- SARS compliance (VAT; PAYE; Income Tax).
Qualifications and Experience:
- Newly qualified PA(SA); AGA(SA) or Part CGMA.
- 0 to 2 years post-article experience (articles highly preferred).
- Strong communicator; reasonably extroverted; team player.
- Strong initiative, and happy to deal with varied tasks as they arise.
Salary:
- R35k - R45k / month CTC
