Introduction

They specialize in helping clients proactively identify, protect, detect, and respond to threats in an ever-evolving landscape.
They are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to manage the accounts payable function across Ireland and the UK. This role involves overseeing invoice processing, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate records to support the finance team.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Book supplier invoices and reconcile monthly statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and generate and record payment runs.
- Respond to supplier queries and maintain the vendor setup process.
- Process and analyze expense claims, issuing payments as needed.
- Prepare bi-weekly and monthly accounts payable and cash payment reports.
- Ensure all accounts payable processes and procedures are followed.
- Issue internal purchase orders for expense-related items.
- Assist the Finance Team with various ad-hoc tasks.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping; ATI qualification preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel for data manipulation.
- Familiarity with modern finance software.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail with strong numerical abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple projects under deadlines with minimal supervision, maintaining quality.
- Demonstrates initiative, confidence, and quick learning abilities.
- Energetic and positive attitude.
