Job Title: Data Engineer (3DX) Marine Sector

Non-negotiable qualifications and experience required:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-10 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with specific expertise in Dassault Systèmes 3D Experience (3DX) platform and marine sector applications.
- Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands. Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).
Beneficial requirements:
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL, data integration, and ETL tools; familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java is a plus.
- Platform Knowledge: Extensive experience with 3DX data management, platform customization, and tool integration within a marine engineering context.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex data requirements in the marine sector.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and optimize data pipelines within the 3DX platform to support engineering processes and ensure seamless data flow.
- Platform Integration: Implement data integrations with other marine engineering tools and systems, ensuring effective data sharing across platforms.
- Data Quality Assurance: Develop and enforce data quality standards within the 3DX environment to maintain consistency, accuracy, and reliability.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze large datasets related to marine design and engineering, generating reports to support data-driven decision-making.
- User Support & Training: Provide technical support and training to team members on 3DX data usage, best practices, and troubleshooting.
