What You'll Be Doing:
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you'll be the backbone of our infrastructure, responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing high-availability systems. Your role will include:
- Building Scalable Infrastructure: Craft and manage robust cloud and on-premises environments using platforms like OCI, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Proactive Monitoring: Implement advanced monitoring and alerting tools to identify and tackle issues before they escalate
- Streamlining Through Automation: Develop tools and scripts to eliminate inefficiencies and enhance reliability
- Performance Optimization: Dive into performance metrics, pinpoint areas for improvement, and take action to boost application and infrastructure efficiency
- Ensuring Security & Compliance: Lead the charge in creating secure, compliant systems through best practices and regular audits
- Collaborating Across Teams: Partner with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new features with scalable and reliable infrastructure
- Disaster Recovery: Develop fail-proof recovery plans to safeguard operations
What We're Looking For:
We need an experienced problem-solver and analytical thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments. Here's what makes the ideal candidate:
- Experience: At least 5 years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or similar fields
- Cloud Expertise: Deep knowledge of cloud platforms like OCI, AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Automation Skills: Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and tools like Terraform or Ansible
- Monitoring Tools: Mastery of systems like Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack
- Networking Knowledge: Strong grasp of DNS, load balancing, VPNs, and related concepts
- Containerization & CI/CD: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Linux Administration: Expertise in managing Linux/Unix systems
- Incident Management: Proven ability to handle high-pressure scenarios with clarity and composure
