The Material Planner handles end-to-end planning of inventory in excess of invoicing, from purchase requisition to customer invoice, assisting internal customer service inquiries.

- Manage end-to-end logistic flows with our (subassembly-) suppliers
- Lead weekly alignment meetings with the main suppliers to ensure the right production plans
- Managing materials resource planning exception messages and assisting in cycle counting and/or year-end inventory counting
- Calculating and maintaining inventory parameters in planning systems and ERP systems: safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead time, and replenishment strategies
- Working with buyers to get the best supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ), quality, lead time, and flexibility
- Conducting financial risk assessments relating to inventory, and root cause evaluation when necessary
- Evaluating excess and obsolete/aging inventory, and taking appropriate action with others to optimize inventory performance
- Provide forecasts at raw material level to external- and intercompany suppliers in order to fulfill inventory in time
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain Management / Production environment / material management
- High analytical skills
- Knowledge of SAP PP & MM , MS Office (esp. EXCEL) – SAP WM/EWM is a plus
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in German & English
- A min. Bachelor degree in supply chain management / business administration / engineering / material management
