Molecular and Cell Biology
The successful applicant will join the Department of Meiosis, where we carry out groundbreaking research to study the development and function of mammalian eggs. In addition, we investigate the causes of infertility and develop new therapeutics to allow more couples to conceive.
- The scientific manager will work closely with the director to assist with the general management of the department and other managerial tasks
- Represent the director in both internal and external communications
- Participate in organizing departmental activities and initiatives
- Prepare scientific documents and presentations to support research efforts
- Develop and implement a social media strategy, maintaining our Twitter / X account and other platforms
- Create and update content for the departmental website
- You should hold a PhD degree in natural sciences or medicine
- Proficiency in both English and German
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with social media management and content creation is a plus

Position details
Initial appointment is for three years, with a strong interest in a long-term relationship. Payment and benefits are based on the German public service payscale (TVöD Bund) guidelines. We would like to fill the position as soon as possible, but the exact start date is flexible.
