In this role, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs, define project requirements, and ensure successful project execution from start to finish.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure quotes that meet technical specifications, identifying new suppliers when necessary, and negotiating pricing, terms, and conditions. You will oversee the procurement of raw materials, manage pre-fabrication processes, and prepare detailed instructions to guide the manufacturing team. Tracking project progress, adhering to schedules and budgets, and presenting updates in weekly management meetings will also be key aspects of this role.
You will maintain effective communication with clients to ensure satisfaction, address queries, and manage invoicing processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing fabrication data books and ensuring all necessary documentation is sent to clients. Compliance with company QHSE policies is a top priority, and you will play a critical role in maintaining these standards.
We are looking for candidates with a tertiary mechanical engineering qualification, as this is essential for the role. Sound project engineering experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
