Our client is searching for a Manager: Business Development (Permanent, Midrand, fully remote – need to be available for meetings in Midrand when needed.)
Role Summary: The Manager of Business Development will drive the company’s growth by identifying new revenue streams and expanding business opportunities. This includes developing strategies for financial sustainability, fostering relationships with members and stakeholders, and seeking new funding sources. Reporting to the Executive Director , the role focuses on innovation, collaboration, and aligning member needs with the company's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business growth strategies and revenue targets.
- Engage with members and stakeholders to enhance the company's value proposition.
- Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and innovation possibilities.
- Seek project funding, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive business expansion.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage vendor relationships.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure strategy alignment and execution.

Qualifications:
- NQF Level 7 (3-year degree) in Marketing, Sales, Business Management, Economics, or Finance.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the credit and risk industry.
