The
Senior Electronic Hardware Engineer will lead the design, development, and testing of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) for a prominent Defence/Aerospace organization. This technical role requires expertise in electronic circuit simulation, design, and an ability to manage the complete LRU development process from conceptual design to production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and simulate LRUs, including schematic design, PCB routing, and circuit analysis.
- Ensure compliance with hardware design processes and documentation standards.
- Conduct peer reviews and testing to ensure adherence to industry standards like DO-160 and MIL-STD-704.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing technical oversight.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including software, mechanical, RF, and DSP engineers, for hardware integration.
- Research and apply advancements in electronic hardware technology.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware performance issues.
Candidate Requirements:
Qualifications
- Required : B.Eng or M.Eng in Electronic Engineering (or related field).
- Preferred : Experience in Military or Aerospace industries.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years (15+ years preferred).
- Hands-on experience with analog, digital, and high-speed digital design (minimum 2 years).
Skills & Tools
- Required :
- Proficiency in Altium , LTspice , Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Familiarity with DO-160, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, and MIL-STD-704.
- Preferred :
- Knowledge of DO-254 design processes, MTBF calculations, and FMEA circuit analysis.
- Experience with simulation tools like Ansys and IPC courses for PCB design in Military/Aerospace applications.
Other
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Own transport is required.
