Job Title: Senior Project Professional (Construction/Infrastructure)
Location: Barrow-In-Furness – On Site
Salary: £40,748+ depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing construction project lifecycles within a highly regulated environment
- Responsible for controlling & reporting against all commercial and financial aspects of projects from concept to completion (both internal and external supply chain activities)
- Discharging Client duties in accordance with Regulatory requirements
- Maintaining and managing a safety focused environment and culture aligned to the high-risk aspects of the projects undertaken
- Managing multiple construction aspects while also effectively liaising with Contractors and internal/external Stakeholders
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Experience managing Projects of complexity and up to million-pound value
- Experience of managing contractors
- Stakeholder management experience at mid-management level internally and externally
Desirable:
- Qualification, or working towards, in Project Management and/or Engineering/Construction
- Project Management and delivery skillset (e.g. development of Plans, Business Cases, Risk Management, stakeholder engagement or equivalent experience)

The Site and Facilities Team:
As a Senior Project professional, you will be a member of a growing team within S&F, while reporting to a Project Manager and will be responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of Infrastructure projects. You will also be dealing with Stakeholders internally and externally and managing these relationships. You will be overseeing million Pound projects that are critical to delivering forthcoming growth expansions at BAE that will impact the future of the business.
