Job Description
A well-established and reputable client of ours is seeking a Field Service Diesel Engineer to add to their Rail business field service team.
The ideal candidate will be a positive team player with a self-starter attitude and have ideally 2 or more years experience maintaining/ repairing large commercial diesel engines. Recent commercial diesel apprenticeship graduates who can demonstrate they have the required aptitude are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities Of The Field Service Engineer
- Perform rolling stock diesel engine maintenance /repair on clients sites
- Diagnose engine systems and perform diesel engine repairs
- Diagnose and troubleshoot and perform engine system repairs
- Diagnose and repair specialized components and controls
- Delivers technical advice to our clients
- Will maintain good housekeeping with the ability to keep company records and complete work orders on equipment in timely manner
Experience/ Qualifications of the Field Service Engineer
- 2-5 years experience maintaining/ repairing diesel engines on jobsite or vocational/trade school environment
- Full & clean valid driver's license
- Must be capable of working with heavy components.
- Apprentice trained and qualified or equivalent Level 3 qualifications or higher
