We are currently seeking experienced Health & Safety Advisors for a fixed-term contract based in Immingham. The ideal candidate would hold their NEBOSH certificate whilst having prior experience within mechanical construction.

This role will require you to work 07:00 am til 17:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Duties

Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Prepare detailed reports on safety incidents, including root cause analysis and recommendations for improvement.
Provide first aid training and emergency response training to employees, ensuring they are well-prepared for any situation.
Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety within the organisation through effective communication and training initiatives.
Investigate accidents and near misses, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of safety training, incidents, and compliance activities.

Experience

Proven experience in a safety-related role.
Strong skills in report writing, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Experience in conducting root cause analysis to identify underlying issues contributing to safety incidents.
Certification in first aid is highly desirable; additional health and safety qualifications will be an advantage.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
