We are seeking a Grants Manager for a permanent role based in Woodstock, Western Cape.
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
- Degree in finance and / or related field of study
- 5+ years grant management / accounting experience including the preparation of audit committee reports, management accounts and income & expenditure statements
- 5 years’ experience in management of staff
- Experience working on SAP Business 1 or similar
- Knowledge of MS Office as well as grants policies and procedures
- Knowledge and implementation of SARS rules on VAT of income
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: - Ensuring SOP’s and policies are in place and develop a dashboard for grant visibility
- Oversee debtors and ensure invoicing takes place
- Quarterly reporting to risk committee and oversee issuing of grant related information
- Oversee grants management process flow
- Develop/maintain expertise in grant proposal and funder requirements
- Ensure financial requirements are met
- Develop/maintain a database for active grants
- Ensure funder specific compliance requirements are met
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of grant contract terms and conditions
- Ensure cohesion between various departments
- Sign off on all funder financial reports and present to CFO
- Manage organizational revenue
- Keep accurate and up to date database of changes to status of projects
