Our client is a Surrey based charity providing emotional well-being and mental health support through solutions focused interventions to children and young people. They are based in Redhill, provide services on behalf of the NHS and are seeking a part time Senior Accountant to join their team for 14 hours per week.
Job Purpose
To provide support and financial expertise to the Senior Leadership Team, CEO and Trustees. To manage the Bookkeeper ensuring records are accurate and up to date. Manage the collection and reporting of non-financial information in relation to the performance of contracts. To be part of the Senior Leadership Team.

Person Specification
Essential
- Qualifications: ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
- Experience: Proven experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of UK tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and compliance requirements.
- Communication Skills: Ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Leadership: Demonstrate financial leadership with colleagues in non-finance roles.
- Organisation: Good planning and organisation skills.
Desirable
- Experience in a specific industry (e.g. Not for Profit, NHS).
- Ability to use and manage databases of non-financial information.
