Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical)

Our client based in Foston, near Derby, is seeking Maintenance Engineers who can work a weekly rotating shift pattern that includes mornings, afternoons, and nights (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00 / 22:00-06:00) from Monday to Friday. If you have a strong background in maintenance engineering, whether electrically biased or multi-skilled, and possess a minimum of 12 months of relevant experience, we encourage you to consider this role.
Duties - Maintenance Engineer
- You'll be responsible for both planned preventative maintenance and reactionary maintenance on a diverse range of production and packing machines.
- Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the production line, directly contributing to the efficiency and success of the manufacturing process.
- Communication skills are just as critical as your technical expertise, as you will be required to provide daily reports to management and effectively hand over tasks to your fellow engineers.
Experience required - Maintenance Engineer
- To excel in this role, valuable experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance engineering is a must, particularly in FMCG or food manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with conveyor belts and injection plastics will be highly advantageous.
- Minimum 12 months experience as Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician.
- 18th Edition advantageous although not essential.

- The starting salary for the Maintenance Engineer position is competitive, at 46,085 per annum, with the potential to significantly increase your earnings through overtime with realistic on-target earnings ranging from 55,000 to 60,000 per year.
