Icebolethu Group is currently in search of a Group Risk Manager . The successful incumbent will be responsible for the establishment and implementation of a risk and compliance framework for Icebolethu Group to effectively manage all risk exposures that pose an internal/external threat to Icebolethu Group of Companies and ensure compliance to internal processes and policies, applicable laws and regulations, across the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Risk and Compliance related field.
Experience and Knowledge Required
- Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in managing risk and compliance functions in a corporate environment, with seven (7) years at Management Level.
- Knowledge of Corporate Regulatory Environment.
- Business Continuity Management.
- Regulatory and Legal Frameworks.
- Risk Management and Compliance Policies, Strategies and Procedures.
- Fraud prevention strategies and their implementation.
- Proven experience in strategy and Business Development.
- Experience in the Insurance/Funeral Assurance industry will be an added advantage.
- A valid Driver’s licence (not applicable to persons with disabilities) and willingness to travel for business purposes.
