Our client is a Surrey based charity providing emotional well-being and mental health support through solutions focused interventions to children and young people. They are seeking a part time Bookkeeper to join their team for 7 hours per week.
Job Purpose
To provide bookkeeping and data entry support to the Senior Accountant (Director of Finance) and financial assistance to the Senior Leadership Team, CEO and Trustees. To manage the bookkeeping ensuring records are accurate and up to date.

Person Specification
Essential
- Experience: Proven experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Communication Skills: Ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Organisation: Good planning and organisation skills.
Desirable
- Qualifications: Accounting Technician or similar.
- Knowledge: Understanding of UK tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in a specific industry (e.g Not for Profit, NHS).
- Ability to use and manage databases of non-financial information.
