QC/ QA Operative
Hours of work/Payrate:
- Monday to Friday 8am-5pm 42.5 hours per week. £11.44 per hour.
Temp to permanent positions available for the right candidate.
Role description -
- Assist with the assembly of our clients manufactured fittings
- Assist with product rework, ensuring work is done to customer specification
- Wiring and assembly of electrical components
- Electrical, photometric, mechanical and physical test and inspection of delivery, production and supplier lamp and luminaire samples
- Following through test and inspection failures with the QC Team Leader, ensuring additional test samples are acquired and appropriate resolution is applied through the Bond and SCAR process
Main objectives as a QC Operative -
- Complete all works orders, accommodating any urgent requirements
- Ensure all assembly jobs are completed ready for despatch by their assigned despatch date
- Ensure all Container shipment products have all applicable photometric, safety and regulatory tests and inspections completed within 5 days of the container being unloaded
- Ensure all LCL shipment products have all applicable photometric, safety and regulatory tests and inspections completed within 2 days of the shipment being unloaded
