SmartPro are seeking an experienced Process Operator to join our client based in the Swansea Valley area. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the production processes. You will ensure that operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely while adhering to quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to maintaining high operational standards.
Shift Pattern: Days initially, however, this position will require shiftwork dependent on workload
Responsibilities of the Process Operator:
- Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify any issues or malfunctions.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain product quality and safety.
- Record and analyse production data, making adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot problems and implement solutions promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to process operations.
Requirements of the Process Operator:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or process operation role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- Basic understanding of machinery operation and maintenance is advantageous.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts as required by the production schedule.
