The Product Marketing Lead is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that effectively communicate the value of the company's products to target audiences.
Responsibilities: - Create and execute comprehensive product marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
- Define product positioning, messaging and value propositions that differentiate products in the market.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends and competitive landscape.
- Analyse market data and customer insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Plan and execute product launches, including coordinating cross-functional teams, creating marketing collateral, and managing promotional activities.
- Monitor and analyse launch performance to optimise future product introductions.
- Oversee the creation of product-related content, including brochures, white papers, case studies, and website copy.
- Collaborate with the content team to ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels.
- Work closely with product management, sales, and customer support teams to ensure alignment on product strategy and customer messaging.
- Provide sales enablement materials and training to support the sales team in effectively communicating product benefits.
- Track and analyse the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Provide regular reporting on key metrics and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Essential Requirements: - Diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Certificate in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field will be beneficial.
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably within the technology or software industry.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products in a competitive market.
- Strong understanding of market research, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis.
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools, including SEO, PPC, and social media marketing will be beneficial.
