Cape AI was founded at the beginning of 2019 and is currently run by enthusiastic data-driven entrepreneur Pieter Boon and Artificial Intelligence expert Adit Mehta. What we’re looking for
- Problem solver with strong soft skills.
- Lots of hands-on experience with scalable data environments, Spark, handling SQL databases, Docker, cloud, continuous integration, testing, and production analytics environments.
- Very proficient in at least one programming language (preferably Python).
- DevOps skills such as working with Git / virtual machines in the cloud.
- Ability to understand and explain scalability concepts such as parallel computing / indexing.
- Experience with machine learning models in production environments.
- Solid understanding of cloud environments, databases, and platforms such as Spark and Hadoop.
- Finalized university degree in Computer Science or similar.
- Work visa for the location you are applying for (to become eligible for an inter-company transfer, you need to first work 6 months at your local office).
- Full-time availability and willingness to travel to the client.
Compensation
Depending on work experience:
South Africa: R 20.000 / R 100.000 month
The Netherlands: EUR 2.500 / EUR 8.000 month
