We have an amazing opportunity for a Food and Beverage Team Leader (x3) to be based in our Park Branch – KZN. Do you think you have what it takes to be our newest Purple Star?
The Food and Beverage Team Leader will be accountable for supervising and supporting food and beverage branch managers. This includes assisting with health and safety management, facility management, kitchen management, stock management, resource management, customer service, adherence to departmental and company policies, procedures, and reporting. Partner with branch managers to enquire about customer experience and areas of improvement to ensure that the F&B experience attracts and retains customers and provides the best dining experience possible for customers.

What You’ll Do For The Brand:
• Ensure internal Food and Beverage processes are followed.
• Ensure that the Food and Beverage Department is adequately staffed for the shift.
• Manage the Food and Beverage staff during the shift.
• Ensure internal Food and Beverage stock management processes are followed.
• Manage and account for Food and Beverage inventory such as cutlery and crockery.
• Ensure accurate front of house stock reconciliations after each shift.
• Ensure that the GAAP/POS system is always up and running during operational hours.
• Manage Food and Beverage resources during the shift.
• Observe and evaluate staff and work procedures to ensure quality standards of service.
• Submit stock requisitions to the Storeman to request front of house stock.
• Conduct a stock count after the shift and complete a stock reconciliation to report on and account for variances.
• Ensure that all wastages and breakages during the shift are disclosed and accounted for.
• Ensure staff meal purchases are being recorded and verify the content and quantity.
• Ensure cash management processes are followed.
• Address and recover shortages.
• Create rosters for staff considering busy periods, events, and operating hours.
• Manage staff conduct, discipline, and performance, completing disciplinary actions when required.
• Ensure superior customer service and experience.
• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly Food and Beverage reports in a timely manner.
• Conduct a meeting before the shift starts to direct the team and provide daily briefings.
• Manage time for waitrons/bartenders.
• Work closely with the Food and Beverage Branch Manager to improve customer experience.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as required.
