A leading FMCG Retail Store dedicated to offering high-quality products and exceptional customer service, catering to a diverse community. Known for its fresh produce, groceries, and household essentials, the store values efficiency and a positive shopping experience, and is looking for a flexible Store Manager to join their team and oversee operations, drive sales, and ensure outstanding service delivery.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Tertiary Qualification in retail management preferred
- 4+ years’ experience in all aspects of day-to-day running and managing of a store specific to retail outlets
- MS Office suite and other ERP systems
- Prepared to work long hours
- Great customer service skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage departments' targets and profitability of all departments
- Manage staff
- Manage stock
- Manage targets
- Pricing and POS systems
- Manage promotions
- Ensure that strict hygiene & housekeeping standards are always maintained
- Ensure that service excellence is maintained at all times
- Open and close the store
