The above vacancy exists in our On-Sites Sales department at our Head Office, reporting to the Sales Manager: On-Sites. Qualified candidates who meet the requirements of the role are invited to apply.
Overview & Key Responsibilities
This role is responsible for developing On-Sites Sale of Gas (SOG) and Sale of Equipment (SOE) opportunities. The key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Prospecting, proposal development and tendering;
- Responsible for commercial and contractual negotiation;
- Lead commercial activities during the project execution phase to ensure success;
- Long-term stewardship of customer contracts;
- Ensuring ongoing growth and sustainability of the On-Sites business division;
- Responsible for carrying out general administrative tasks.
Essential Requirements
The following qualifications and skills are required for this position:
- A completed BSc Chemical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification, MBA (advantageous);
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in a commercial or sales function;
- Must have good knowledge of the Chemical, Metals and Mining industries;
- Must have the ability to network, negotiate and persuade at various levels;
- Must be target-driven and customer service oriented;
- Must have excellent communication skills;
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to handle complex spreadsheets;
- A valid unendorsed code B (or higher) drivers license;
