An established recycling company based in Smethwick requires an experienced heavy plant fitter for the night shift.
Duties:
- Carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs on mobile and fixed plant equipment including 360 excavators, loading shovels, forklifts, shredders, conveyors, and all manner of recycling plant equipment.
- Plant safety inspections.
- TIG and MIG welding.
Requirements:
- Experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy plant equipment preferably in a scrapyard / recycling environment.
- MIG and TIG welding experience.
- Own tools required.
Hours:
- 4pm to 3am Monday to Friday. (Night shift)
- Overtime as required.
This is a permanent position that starts immediately.
