Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Define, propose and implement a strategic approach for the insurance business units internal audit function that aligns with the Internal Audit Departmental strategy
Contribute to internal audit departmental strategic planning, providing a focus for the insurance business unit
Provide support and/or technical expertise to the Head: Internal Audit to realise the strategy through drafting and propose input to the annual audit plan
Responsible for linking the strategy to departmental initiatives and communicating objectives to the insurance business unit team
Provide support of insurance business units know-how to the Head: Internal Audit to compile the departmental budget
Education:
CA(SA) or CIA
Job Experience:
10 years exposure in a similar role in the Insurance industry
