Our client is looking for a Junior Accountant to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Business Partner to, and operational Finance support, to the business functions (Manufacturing, Logistics, Commercial and support services.
- Delivering accurate data and business crucial insight and analysis.
- Responsible for the implementation and subsequent maintenance of minimum control standards.
- Design and implementation of key business processes.
- Timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual Financial Reporting.
- Co-ordinate all financial timelines, deadlines, and standard deliverables.
- Compliance to Month End Reporting routines and Reconciliations.
- Work with the business to track financial performance and provide financial information, forecasting and analysis to help guide decision making and set strategy.
- Support and challenge the business to continually ensure that its strategies align with financial goals.
- Support the business with Cost analysis and Budget Control reporting and develop and track key performance metrics.
Key Skills: - Must be detail-oriented, have strong research, problem-solving, and analytical skills, and have the ability to communicate with all levels of staff, vendors, and senior management,
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demand,
Qualifications: - B. Com degree in accounting or equivalent
- Completed articles
- FMCG background will be to your advantage
- Work requires continual attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerBI
- Familiarity with ERP systems
