Our client is urgently seeking a
Financial Manager
to join their team, based in East London.
Successful candidate to have a strong background in Finance and Accounting, with a proven track record of managing financial operations in a Construction and Manufacturing environment.
Minimum Requirements:-
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
SAIPA, SAICA, or other relevant professional certification
Minimum 10 years' experience in Financial Management, with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, analysis and reporting
Minimum 5 years' experience in a financial management role, preferably in a Construction and Manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial markets, and regulatory requirements
Excellent analytical, communication and leadership skills
Proven track record of success in financial management and strategic planning
Experience in risk management and financial instruments
Advanced proficiency in Financial software and Excel
Duties:-
Financial reporting of Monthly Management Accounts
Preparation of Annual Financial Statements
Overseeing of audits
Reviewing of debtors, creditors and stock
Overseeing monthly inventory stock counts
Compiling import orders
Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders
Other duties reasonably expected of a Financial Manager and as deemed fit by Management
