Your key responsibilities will include:
Ensuring compliance: Manage all activities to ensure compliance with employment equity legislation, as well as company policies and processes.
Industrial relations management: Take charge of all IR processes, including conducting management training, organizing worker's committee meetings, overseeing disciplinary and grievance procedures, and preparing relevant reports.
Talent acquisition: Oversee the end-to-end management of our talent acquisition process, aiming to attract the best industry talent and create a memorable working experience for our staff at the hotel.
Learning and development coordination: Collaborate with the L&D Manager to coordinate various aspects of learnership and traineeship programs, including learner management.
Wellness initiatives: Join our wellness committee and contribute to the implementation of wellness initiatives that promote the well-being of our employees.
HR support and development: Act as a strategic partner to operational managers, providing them with HR support and contributing to their professional development.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Possess a tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management (Diploma or Degree). Have 3-5 years of experience in a similar HR role within a business of similar size. Proficient in MS Office at an intermediate level. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Demonstrated proficiency in SAGE 300 (People) is preferred. Solid understanding of labor legislation, and knowledge/exposure to processes associated with BBBEE management is advantageous.
