Job Description : We're looking for a seasoned General Manager with a passion for Food and Beverage hospitality to oversee the lodge Food and Beverage operation. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing a team, driving revenue growth, and maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction levels.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Food & Beverage managerial role with some rooms experience within a lodge
- Strong understanding of food and beverage operations
- Relevant qualifications in Hospitality Management or related field
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written, good communication skills
- Professional appearance
- Valid drivers license
- 100% Guest focused
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
- Strong attention to detail and able prioritise effectively
- Train and deliver world class international service standard
Computer Literacy: - MS Office Suite
- TallOrder and Nightsbridge (Would be advantageous)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all food and beverage operations to ensure quality and consistency, including the kitchen
- Work with the head chef to maintain food quality and presentation, ensuring all meals are checked and recipes are followed
- Manage inventory, ordering, and budgeting to maximize profitability.
- Set par levels for all stock, control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
- Develop and maintain high standards for service and customer experience in a fine dining environment
- Train food and beverage team to deliver outstanding service
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all areas of the lodge
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently
- Oversee and assist other departments in the lodge to ensure seamless guest experiences
