Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute merchandise planning strategies to optimize product assortment and achieve sales, margin, and inventory goals.
Analyze sales trends, customer insights, and market data to inform buying decisions and drive growth.
Collaborate closely with buying, marketing, and retail teams to align on product launches and promotional activities.
Manage inventory flow to ensure optimal stock levels across stores and e-commerce platforms.
Forecast demand and create seasonal plans, leveraging data-driven insights.
Conduct regular performance analysis, identifying opportunities and risks, and making actionable recommendations.
Mentor and guide junior planners, fostering a collaborative and high-performing planning team.
Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in merchandise planning within the retail apparel sector.
Proven track record of success in forecasting, inventory management, and strategic planning.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable business insights.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in merchandise planning tools and advanced Excel skills.
A degree in Business, Merchandising, or a related field is preferred.
