Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Demand Forecast and Supply Planning Business Analyst to predict future product demand and develop supply plans to optimise inventory and supply chain decisions. This role involves using statistical models, historical data, and market trends to provide actionable insights to key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Demand Forecasting:
Develop and maintain models to forecast demand using historical data, trends, and business intelligence. Improve forecast accuracy through continuous model updates.
Supply Planning:
Create supply plans to meet forecasted demand, optimise inventory, and minimise stock outs or excess inventory. Collaborate with procurement and production teams to align supply plans.
Data Analysis:
Analyse large datasets to identify trends and provide insights. Conduct root cause analysis on forecast errors and recommend improvements.
Collaboration:
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on demand and supply planning. Present data and insights to management.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy and efficiency. Stay updated on industry trends.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
Experience in demand forecasting, supply planning, or as a Business Analyst.
Proficiency in statistical analysis and forecasting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of supply chain management is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in apparel or manufacturing sectors.
Certification in demand planning or supply chain management.
