Our client is looking for a Sales Engineer to join their team based in Midrand.
Tasks:
- Understanding technical requirements of clients in the Vibration monitoring industry.
- Creating innovative engineering concept solutions to meet client’s needs.
- Working with other engineers to perform feasibility studies, develop models and specify hardware and equipment.
- Working with other engineers to improve on existing vibration monitoring processes and designs.
- Determining and costing of vibration monitoring hardware and labour required for potential projects.
- Become familiar with client specific vibration monitoring design standards and practices.
- Reparation and formatting of tender documentation.
- Obtaining supplier quotations.
- Build up customer contact & relationships.
- Additional ad hoc tasks required by management.
Your skills:
- National Diploma or Degree in Engineering
- High degree in Computer Literacy in MS Office, MS Projects
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales and vibration monitoring advantageous
- Project Management
- Ability to understand customer requirements and specifications
- Excellent analytical, written, verbal communications, and documentation skills
- High degree in Computer Literacy in MS Office, MS Projects
- In depth deliberation skills with experienced customers
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Work as an individual and part of a team
- Driver’s license essential
