HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER - URGENT
Location: Cape Town - CBD
Salary: R25 000 – R28 000 CTC PER MONTH
Minimum Requirements:
- National Health and Safety Diploma (SAMTRAC or NEBOSH)
- 3 years’ health and safety experience in an office environment
- Computer literacy, particularly MS Office Suite
- In depth knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and related legislation
- Excellent organisational abilities
- Excellent administrative skills
- Systematic, comprehensive and displaying excellent attention to detail
- Outcomes-orientated, not simply task-orientated
- Willingness to go the extra mile, which includes working long and irregular hours, weekends, and public holidays where necessary
Responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing, and managing effective health and safety protocols, and promoting these
- Overseeing and managing health and safety measures and ensuring that risks are addressed at senior management level, where appropriate
