Key Responsibilities:
- BIM Modeling & Coordination : Develop detailed 3D models using software such as Revit and Navisworks.
- Design Development : Translate project requirements into precise design models while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaboration : Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate design solutions into the overall project framework.
- Project Documentation : Generate detailed drawings, schedules, and material take-offs.
- Technical Expertise : Oversee clash detection processes and coordinate with various stakeholders to resolve conflicts.
- Team Leadership : Mentor junior modellers and provide guidance to enhance their technical skills.
- Innovation : Proactively suggest improvements in BIM workflows and explore emerging technologies to optimize project outcomes.
Requirements:
- National Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Architectural technology, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in BIM modeling and design.
- Proficiency in software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- Strong understanding of architectural and structural modeling.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize tasks within tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and experience in stakeholder engagement.
