Key Responsibilities: Ensure all relevant employment documentation is accurately completed for all new hires Accurate and up to date record keeping on the HR system Drafting of employment contracts Monitor employee leave in line with company policy Working closely with departments, increasingly in a consultation role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures Facilitate disciplinary process and setting up of disciplinary enquiries Preparing and handling Conciliation and Arbitration cases Facilitate the grievance procedure when necessary Conduct Exit Interviews Induction Facilitate induction for all new employees Attend to Department of Labour requirements Analysing training needs in conjunction with departmental managers General administration Payroll administration Accurate and timely completion of monthly HR Reports Enhance employer / employee relationship Developing with line managers HR planning strategies Matric (Grade 12) qualification Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or similar qualification and/or experience Excellent knowledge of local labour laws LRA, BCEA, EEA, OHSA etc. At least 2 years experience in an HR Generalist position Valid Code 08 drivers licence and own reliable transport essential
