Morrison EnergyServices is currently looking to recruita Project Manager to work ona project based in Cowley,Oxfordshire.
The project is working on a customerconnection to the National Grid Electricity TransmissionTransformer Tertiary System at the Cowleysite.
As aProject Manager your duties & responsibilities willinclude:
Leading the construction team in deliveringthe project, through the end-to-end process from project initiationto completion Strategic health,safety and environmental management and leadership to drive thehighest standards Delivery of the project to the agreed time, cost andquality requirements Work closely withthe planning team to ensure delivery programmes are in place andprogress is monitored Drive the Project team ethos toensure the delivery team function as a cohesive managementteam Drive riskmanagement for the Project Provide leadership and guidance ontechnical and contractual matters to ensure timely resolution Support the preparation of monthlyCVR in conjunction with the CommercialManager Being commerciallyastute, lead the management team to deliver the balanced scorecardand meet/exceed contract financial terms andtargets
Skills & KnowledgeRequirements:
Commercially minded with experience onNEC3/4 contracts Previous projectmanagement experience with National Gridprojects Knowledge of theElectrical Transmission and Distribution industry isessential Able to demonstrate ownership of a portfolio of projectsof varying values and complexities Effectivecommunication skills Effectiverelationship management skills Appreciation and understanding of commercialmanagement Flexible and adaptable Able to work autonomously andcollaboratively Hold a relevantProject Management qualification orequivalent A full drivinglicence and willingness to travelfrequently
