Salary : £26339.04 per annum rising to £26994.24 after a successful 3-month probation period.

The Role:
We
have a number of opportunities for Production Operatives to join the friendly
team at our Leominster factory. The job entails carrying out a variety of
factory skills safely and efficiently, using complex equipment to ensure
production is maintained to the highest level. The role of Production Operative
is wide-ranging and offers a great deal of variety with full training - you
will be trained to operate the line (packing or process) complete daily
routines, perform checks and report defects.
The working hours for
the role are 4 on 4 off days and nights. 12-hour shifts 6-6. This means
you will work 4 dayshifts (6am-6pm), 4 days off and then 4 nightshifts
(6pm-6am). Due to our idyllic, rural location, you will need your own
transport
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience within manufacturing or the food industry (highly desirable)
- Level 2 in Food Safety for Manufacturing (desirable, although bespoke training is provided)
- A good standard of literacy and numeracy in English
- The ability to take ownership and accountability
- The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy is imperative
- The ability to work independently as well as within a team
