LabourTek is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Fitter to join a team at an FMCG Manufacturer in Cape Town As a Maintenance Fitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of our machinery by performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Your duties will include fault-finding, handling equipment start-ups, maintaining tools, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our maintenance plans. We are looking for a candidate with a minimum N2 Mechanical qualification, a trade test certification, and 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role. Experience in a food manufacturing environment will be highly advantageous. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations, contributing to a safe working environment, and maintaining accurate administrative records through our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
