Job Description: As a Marketing Specialist at destinationone, you will be responsible for enhancing our brand visibility and reputation across various platforms. Your role will encompass a broad range of marketing activities including SEO, content creation for blogs, website management, social media engagement, and managing our Google business listings. You will also be instrumental in fostering partnerships and managing our online reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Brand Building: Develop and implement marketing strategies that reinforce our brand identity and increase market presence.
- Content Creation & SEO: Produce compelling content for blogs, ensure website optimization for search engines to increase organic traffic.
- Website Management: Maintain and update our website via WordPress, enhancing UI and UX in collaboration with designers to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Social Media Management: Create and curate engaging content, manage posts, and interact with followers to grow social media presence by at least 20% each month.
- Google Listings Management: Regularly update and manage Google business listings to ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Partnership Building: Identify and establish strategic partnerships to enhance brand visibility and reach.
- Online Reputation Management (ORM): Monitor and respond to comments and feedback on social media and other platforms to maintain a positive brand image.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in digital marketing, including SEO, content creation, internal marketing, social media management, and website maintenance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices.
- Proficiency in WordPress and other content management systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with design teams to implement visual and functional improvements.
- Outgoing personality with the ability to engage with partners and online communities effectively.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive projects to completion.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
- Experience in brand building, online reputation management, and managing Google listings.
- A portfolio demonstrating successful marketing campaigns and social media growth.
