Key Responsibilities:
- Driving a safety-first culture across operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of HSE strategy, focusing on risk management and compliance.
- Conducting risk assessments and updating policies and procedures to reflect best practices and legal requirements.
- Delivering effective HSE training, from inductions to refresher courses, embedding a culture of safety at all levels.
- Monitoring operational safety standards, addressing areas of concern, and ensuring effective corrective actions are implemented.
- Working closely with internal teams to identify opportunities for improvement and to implement safety enhancements.
What You'll Bring:
- A NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification (essential), and ideally IOSH membership.
- Demonstrable experience in health and safety, particularly within high-risk environments such as manufacturing or engineering.
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and driving positive change.
