They are looking for a skilled Intermediate Construction Project Manager to join their team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have experience managing construction projects through all stages, from initiation to completion. Job Description: As an Intermediate Construction Project Manager , you will oversee the successful execution of various multi-disciplinary projects in the industrial, commercial, residential, and retail sectors. You will be responsible for managing projects from stage 1 through to stage 6, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: Project Management from Start to Finish: Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from conceptualization (stage 1) to final handover (stage 6). Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects meet specifications, budgets, and deadlines. Develop and manage project timelines, schedules, and resources to ensure timely delivery. Monitor project progress and resolve any issues or delays that may arise. Budget & Cost Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control throughout the project. Approve and process invoices, variations, and change orders. Provide regular financial reporting to senior management and clients. Team & Stakeholder Coordination: Lead and coordinate teams of contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure all requirements are met. Ensure effective communication across all parties involved in the project. Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure projects comply with all relevant regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols. Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality and progress. Address any quality or safety concerns promptly. Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience: 3-5 years of experience in construction project management. Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary projects (industrial, commercial, residential, and retail). Knowledge of all project phases from stage 1 to stage 6, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management. Skills: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. Solid understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control standards. Other Requirements: Must have your own car and a valid drivers license .
