Job Responsibilities
- Mechanical testing, maintenance, fault finding, repairs, replace, disassemble, assemble, recondition engines and worn parts.
- Maintenance – oil, grease, replace filters.
- Record keeping of maintenance and other services or repairs. Monthly reports.
- Monthly reporting on diesel, repairs, and maintenance.
Minimum Requirements
- Trade tests Certified - Red Seal.
- 6 years overall relevant mechanical experience.
- 4 years in-depth knowledge, understanding of, and experience in transmissions, diagnostics, hydraulic systems, mechanical components, diesel engine systems, services, repairs, overhaul, and engine reconditioning – tractors, trucks, bakkies, four-wheelers, spray cards, high-pressure pumps, and motorbikes.
