A sustainable investment platform serving families, foundations, and institutional investors for more than 20 years has an open role for a Platform Product Owner (PPO) who will have end-to-end accountability for Data/Analytics products, from strategy, delivery, service lifecycle, and production operations.
Responsibilities:
- Define product features and user stories.
- Prioritize the product and iteration backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components for the team.
- Significant experience in quality control as the only team member empowered to accept stories as done.
- Responsible for the program backlog, preparing for the Program Increment (PI) Planning meeting.
- Dissect high-level information into details and communicate these details in a manner understood by relevant audiences.
- Ability to drill down into the details of a delivery request without losing sight of the big picture.
- Proven ability to quickly learn new business domains and technical applications.
- Prepare agreed deliverables in line with standards to meet agreed quality standards and timelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience with Data Management and Business Intelligence Tools - Microsoft stack advantageous.
- At least 10 years of proven data management and BI experience.
- 5+ years of banking experience at a senior level advantageous.
- Knowledge and experience in software implementation best practices.
- Project reporting skills using MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel.
- Good functional knowledge of Banking (Retail, Investment, Corporate, and Commercial).
- Subject matter expertise in all areas of product management, including demand management, business management, stakeholder management, roadmap development, communications, and user experience.
