Our client is seeking a suitably qualified HR Generalist to join their Queenstown-based team.
The primary role of this position is to handle all employee-related issues, including but not limited to managing activities such as job design, recruitment and selection, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and talent management.
Minimum Requirements:
- BCom in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology and Labour Relations
- Minimum 4 years' experience in Human Resources
- Attention to detail
- Self-driven and self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
- Digital affinity
Duties:
- Recruitment and employment
- Ensure all employees are aware of company policies and disciplinary codes
- Capturing employee working schedules and working with Finance on wages
- Management of employee benefits including IOD, UIF, Provident Fund, and Funeral Benefits
- Training and development
- Talent management
- Employee wellness
- Manage monthly submissions to the Group HR team
- Ensure compliance with DOL, BCEA, and H&S requirements
- Ensure summary acts are available in the workplace
- Manage all labour and employment-related issues including handling of disciplinary processes and filing and CCMA
- Drive scheduling and attendance of quarterly EE meetings
- Perform ad-hoc Group HR requirements
